Foundation for Suicide Prevention Releases Statement on Chester Bennington

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is offering condolences to Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's family. The organization released a statement Thursday saying in part, "We must do more to prevent such tragic deaths through greater awareness of mental health issues, common risks and warning signs, and effective interventions and treatments. If you need help right now, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK."

Bennington was found hanging in his home in Los Angeles Thursday morning.  The 41-year-old leaves behind a wife and six kids.
