An early morning crash in the exit 36 area of I-95 has resulted in the deaths of two, one of them a child. The crash took place between a semi-truck and a van carrying a family traveling south from Virginia. Two victims of the crash were sent to Shands Medical Center and two were sent to Southeast Georgia Health System. The deceased have not been named pending notification of kin.
Georgia State Patrol is working the crash. More details will be posted as they are released.
