Brian Kemp, Georgia's Republican Secretary of State, will resign today (11-8-19)effectiveas of 11:59 PM. Kemp, the GOP candidate for governor, holds a narrowing lead over Democrat Stacey Abrams following Tuesday's vote. At this time Kemp holds 50.3 percent to 48.7 percent of the votes.
