Chicken Sold In GA Part Of Nationwide Recall

The USDA has announced a large recall of chicken sold at dozens of supermarkets and restaurants across the US for possible listeria contamination. Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious, and sometimes fatal, infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Symptoms of infection include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
