According to a release from the Coastal Heath District, two Glynn County residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the first two confirmed cases in a resident of the Coastal Heath District. The release reports that both people are self isolating and recovering, and that the source of their exposure is unknown at this time. Coastal Health District epidemiologists are gathering more information which can be used to notify others who may have had close contact with the individual. The individual has no known contact to a confirmed case.
The Coastal Health District will provide testing to pre-approved high risk people who have been evaluated by a healthcare provider and assigned a person under investigation number.
