String of Robberies Ends with Arrest

A joint investigation by the Glynn County Police Department and the Brunswick Police Department has resulted in the arrest of two men suspected of committing a series of armed robberies in the area. 20-year-old Zaeveon Cooper and 19-year-old Marquese Bolden have been arrested for a 3-week-long crime spree. The pair is suspected of an August 10th robbery at Domino's Pizza on Scranton Connector, an August 15th robbery at Sonic on Altama Avenue, a robbery at a convenience store on Parkwood Avenue on August 26th, a Friendly Express on Glynn Avenue and another on Cypress Mill Road the next night, and the Circle K on Community Road on August 30th.

Both men were located and arrested. Glynn County Police are charging Cooper and Bolden with one count each of armed robbery per store in the county for a total of six charges, while city police are charging the pair with three counts of armed robbery and one count of theft by taking. Additional warrants are also being sought.
