A bond hearing was scheduled Thursday for Greg and Travis McMichael, two of the three suspects charged in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery in Glynn County in February. Arbery was jogging when Greg and Travis McMichael chased him down in their truck and shot and killed Arbery.
The incident gained national attention when the video of the shooting was released by news talk radio station, WGIG in Brunswick, Georgia. The man who filmed the video, William “Roddie” Bryan is also facing charges.
The two men spoke before a judge on November 12th at the Glynn County Courthouse. The hearing continues Friday, November 13th.
