Legendary recording engineer Geoff Emerick recently passed away. Along with George Martin and Norman Smith, he was one of The Beatles hidden assets in the studio.
Emerick worked on some of the most important rock albums of his generation; including The Zombies Odessey and Oracle, Robin Trower's, Bridge of Sighs, a host of recordings by Paul McCartney/Wings and of course, nearly every album by The Beatles. Emerick also oversaw the building of The Beatles' Apple Studio.
