In the Glynn County jail on molestation charges since late 2016, Brunswick Georgia Reverend Kenneth Adkins recently had his second request for bond denied by Superior Court Judge Stephen Scarlett.
His first bond request was denied in September 2016. The bond request was denied as Adkins bond is considered a flight risk. Adkins was heard previously on a recorded phone call made as an inmate in the Glynn County Detention Center saying he intended to jump bond.
Trial motions in the case are due March 20, 2017 with a motions hearing scheduled for March 24. Jury selection is slated to begin on Monday, April 3, 2017.
