Today President Trump reorganized his National Security Council. The announcement has been made that he has removed his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon who was elevated to the National Security earlier this year. President Trump also downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert. The change adds Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, back to the committee. Bannon will retained his security clearance at this time.
