On Wednesday, August 16th the Glynn County Police called for the assistance of three Glynn County drone operators to track down a fleeing suspect. According to reports, an officer stopped a motorcycle with a cardboard tag about 10:30 a.m. during a routine traffic stop on Wednesday morning (8/16/17). When the driver was asked for his license and registration, the man fled after being unable to provide the required documents. The suspect, who has been identified as 27 year old Jarrod Lynn Chastain of Brunswick, fled into the marsh. The drone operators were called in to pinpointed the suspect’s location, for the arresting officers. in the marsh and provided it to police officers who made the arrest.
