President Trump has taken to his twitter account to urge the people of Georgia to prepare for Hurricane Florence. After a meeting with FEMA officials yesterday he tweeted "Hurricane Florence may now be dipping a bit south and hitting a portion of the Great State of Georgia. Be ready, be prepared!"
A category 4 storm, Florence models now suggest the storm will likely turn south, and bring more impacts to South Carolina and parts of the Southeast. At this time, No part of Georgia is currently under a hurricane watch or warning, according to the latest National Hurricane Center forecast, although the state is in a potential track area for later this week.
