The "MOMO Challenge" passes itself off as a game, but it is anything other than that. The MOMO Challenge is essentially a suicide game, that targets children and teens, encouraging them to contact MOMO by sending messages to an unknown number via the Whatsapp. The participants are then bombarded with chilling messages and images which range from threats and dares, to encouraging self harm and suicide. Police in Columbia released information stating that a 12 year old girl and a 16 year old boy are thought to have killed themselves after taking part in the MOMO Challenge. Parents, please educate yourselves. We all know it takes a village, so share with fellow parents, talk to your children, and keep your eyes on their internet, app, and YouTube habits.
