8 Arrested In Early Morning Raid In McIntosh

On 24 October 2019 the Multi Jurisdictional Special Response Team comprised of deputies from Long County, Liberty County, and McIntosh County conducted a No Knock Search Warrant and Arrest Warrants for several subjects at 1297 Taylor Drive in McIntosh County. The investigation disclosed that Joseph Velazquez and Joshua Drury provided a place for persons to purchase illegal substance and ingest illegal substance. The investigation determined the residence to be a place of ill repute. A total of 8 people were arrested with various charges Sale of Illegal Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of Controlled Substance and Maintaining a Disorderly House. Sheriff Jessup vows to continue the fight to rid McIntosh County of drugs and protect the citizens of McIntosh.

James Luther Parker- Maintaining a Disorderly House (place of ill repute)
Megan Amanda Fisher- Maintaining a Disorderly House (place of ill repute)
Kalynne Rose Taylor- Maintaining a disorderly house (place of ill repute)
*Christopher Dustin Young- Possession of Illegal Controlled Substance
