Coronavirus Could Lead To More Music Festivals Being Put On Hold

SeveraL sources including BILLBOARD and ROLLING STONE are reporting talks are underway to move the COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL and sister event STAGECOACH 2020 from dates in April to dates in October in an attempt to prevent the cancellation of both events over the Coronavirus outbreak spreading rapidly with those large crowds. Moving both of these massive events is a huge undertaking as it affects hundreds of artists and their managers, as well as hundreds of contractors/vendors as well as many tens of thousands of event employees. Recently South by Southwest was canceled, as was the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

COACHELLA headliners include such acts as Frank Ocean, Rage Against The Machine and Travis Scott with many others, while STAGECOACH is being headlined by Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church and Alan Jackson among others. We will update this article as more details are released.
