The last time I saw The Pixies was on my 19th birthday. Fast forward over the decades past a reunion of the original line up in 2004, and the addition of bassist Paz Lenchantin in 2013, to Sunday night when I set myself a new record for the longest time between seeing a band...26 years!
Liverpool's The Wombats opened on an off night from The Pixies co-headlining tour with Weezer.
