Paul Phillips was born in Brunswick, Georgia. We talked once about him listening to the radio here as a kid a finding out what music was all about. After moving to Jacksonville Beach he picked up the guitar at age 15. In 1999 he moved to Los Angeles as an aspiring musician, and was introduced to Puddle of Mudd founder Wes Scantlin. He joined Puddle of Mudd shortly thereafter and plays on their biggest hits. He's also known for his work with Operator and Rev Theory. Paul was even a radio personality right here in his home town at 107.7 The Fox for a while!
