It hasn't been quite a year since Drive By Truckers were right here in our backyard as part of the Southern Grown concert series at Rainbow Island. I had a great conversation then with guitarist Mike Cooley about Southern politics and the roots of Rock 'n Roll that made me a bigger fan than I was before.
This time around they shared the stage with Jacksonville's hometown Tedeschi Trucks Band and the Marcus King Band at Daily's Place Amphitheatre on their current "Wheels of Soul Tour". Photos from their sets are on the way.
